Last July 7, 2021, 48 Geology board passers were sworn in as regular members of the Geological Society of the Philippines. Dr. Alyssa Peleo-Alampay, 2020 PRC Outstanding Professional of the Year in Geology, was the keynote speaker of the event. Members of the GSP Board of Trustees and several guests also attended the oath taking.

The GSP MRCC is likewise inviting CP Applicants to the CP Accreditation Examinations and Interviews that will be conducted in the afternoon of May 8 starting at 1:30 pm.

Requirements for applicants:
Must have at least five (5) years experience in the field of mineral exploration and/or mineral resources estimation
Must be a GSP member for the last 2 years
Must have a valid and current PRC license or an existing renewal application
Must have a current PTR (exempted for geologists exclusively employed in the government)
Must have attended 1 CP seminar or webinar prior to application
Must email the completed CP Application form downloadable at the GSP website and digital copy of at least two (2) technical reports demonstrating competence to the secretariat ( lsmarcelojr@yahoo.com and bbautista@signal-delta.com)
One-time fee charged to applicants is P2,000
